Welcome to The Cottage
Angela and John welcome you to The Cottage, one of the oldest cottages in the ancient village of Porlock where we offer a high standard of accommodation, service and food. We are situated in the centre of the village, convenient to all restaurants, shops and pubs.
The Cottage has four bedrooms with en-suite facilities and central heating. A small courtyard garden is available for your use where you can sit on a summers evening for your sundowners! We can’t sell you the wine, but we will provide you with the glasses.
Our guest lounge is available for your comfort, take a minute to read about Porlock today and yesterday, or look for walks in one of our local walks books.
The Cottage is an excellent location for those walking the South West Coastal Path, or the Coleridge Way, and of course for exploring the Exmoor countryside.
Angela, having been born in the village, has good local knowledge to help you get the most out of your visit to Porlock, and has put together some 'days out by car' to capture the best of Exmoor and the surrounding area.
